  • Educate for training in health & safety so our members are safe every day,
  • Educate on the job, learning new methods and technologies of our work,
  • Educate journeypersons to upgrade in our training facilities to be the best,
  • Educate our members to understand who and what our Union is about,
  • Educate members about the importance of political action,
  • Educate the membership about market share and the purpose of organizing,
  • Educate our families about the benefits our Union provides, and
  • Educate society about the role working people and Unions have in everyday life

The 3 hour program consists of information about all levels of our Union, the benefits offered through our medical plans, pension information, legal issues, collective agreement information,  and an opportunity to met the representatives and staff of the Council. Every new member has an obligation to attend and any member that has been in the Union regardless is welcome also.
